After Tropical Cyclone Winston, Govind Park was badly damaged. The Fijian Government has invested close to $4.5m to redevelop the park with a 9,000 seating capacity pavilion. The new pavilion also provides associated facilities; squash rooms, conference rooms, kiosks, Players Change Rooms and Medical Room.

Status: The project is targeted to be fully completed by 2021
