The new Namaka Market offers 308 stalls to Market Vendors, One Women’s Accommodation Centre, One Conference Room, Fish Market and Accessible Public Convenience. The Namaka Market is opened from 7am to 7pm on Monday to Saturday and 7am – 1pm on Sunday. The Market is designed to provide more ventilation and lighting to the market users. The Accessible Public Convenience is opened 24 hours. The Hon Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama, during the opening of the Namaka Market Project with Hone Premila Kumar Minister for Local Government and Market vendors in February 2020.

Status: Stage 1 & 2 of the Namaka market is now open. NTC is currently working on the completion of the Car Park and installation of Lift.
